Indian Mehendi

Most Indian weddings are incomplete without a mehndi ceremony. According to the ritual, mehndi is usually applied a day before the wedding and the bride does not step out of the house after this ceremony.

A trend that has been going on since ages is the incorporation of the groom’s initial letter/name on the bride’s mehndi design. Mehndi designs have evolved over the years.

Earlier a bride was assumed to follow a ‘fully-filled-bridal-mehndi-design’ where in there were absolutely no gaps in the mehndi design! Where as, today with so many talented mehndi artists from all over the world.
